Product Details
The Pinarello Dogma X is the endurance Dogma — built for riders who want the all-conquering feel of a Tour-winning race bike, but with the geometry and compliance to ride it for ten hours and still want to ride tomorrow. Specced as a custom build through Approved Cycling, every Dogma X leaves our atelier with the groupset, wheels, pedals, contact points, and finishing kit chosen for your riding — not assembled from a stock SKU.
What it is
A custom-built Pinarello Dogma X frameset, configured one-to-one with Approved Cycling. You choose the groupset (Shimano Dura-Ace Di2, SRAM Red AXS, Campagnolo Super Record), the wheelset (Princeton CarbonWorks Wake 6560 EVO, Peak 4550 EVO, or your own preference), and the contact points. We brief, build, fit, and deliver — assembled and ride-ready.
Who it's for
Riders who already know what a great bike feels like and want their next one configured properly: serious amateur racers who want Dogma response with classics-day comfort, gran-fondo riders covering 200 km+ days, and committed cyclists who simply refuse to ride a one-size-fits-all spec.
Why riders choose this build
- Endurance Dogma DNA. Most "endurance" carbon bikes give up the precise, sharp feel that makes you want to ride. The Dogma X keeps the Dogma's stiffness-to-weight and steering precision, while slightly relaxed geometry and the Onda fork take the sting out of long days — so you finish strong instead of just finishing.
- Talon Aero Light handlebar included. Aftermarket cockpits cost €600+ and weeks of waiting. Every Dogma X build ships with the Pinarello Talon Aero Light cockpit pre-fitted to your stem and reach spec — clean cable routing, aero gains, zero compromise.
- Wheels matched to your riding. A €13,000 bike on the wrong wheelset feels wrong. We help you pick between Wake 6560 EVO (deep aero, fast group rides) and Peak 4550 EVO (all-round, climbs included) — and we'll match the hub (Tactic02 or White Industries) to your service plans and freehub standard.
- OSPW option, not an afterthought. Adding ceramic pulleys later means re-routing the rear mech and a workshop bill. We pre-spec your RS Alpha or RS 5-spoke OSPW system at build time — torque-checked, alignment-verified, drivetrain-quiet from day one.
- Tyres set up for your roads. Standard builds ship Vittoria N.EXT 700×28 tubeless on PCW wheels and tubed on Elite Drive — but if you ride Slovenian gravel detours, alpine descents, or pure tarmac, we'll spec the tyre and pressure to match.
- Built by people who race and ride Dogmas. Mail-order custom builds skip the conversation. We brief in person or by video, fit the bike to your contact points and reach, and break in the drivetrain before shipping. The bike that arrives is the bike that fits.

Why start with the Dogma X (not a stock bike)
A stock Dogma X ships with the parts the distributor put on it — not the parts that suit how you ride. At this price level, the difference between a great bike and a perfect bike is one careful conversation. We've configured Dogmas for first-time superbike buyers, returning riders, and category-1 racers; the briefing is free and there's no obligation to order.
